Payment Terms

How and when you are charged, VAT, invoices and saved cards.

Version 1.0Effective 21 August 2026

Accepted methods

mada, Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay and STC Pay where offered in the app, and Tasko wallet credit. Which methods appear is decided by the platform and may differ by market. Cash is not accepted: a professional may not ask you for cash for a booking made in the app.

When you are charged

Your card is authorised when you place the booking and captured when the work is complete, unless the service is prepaid. Approving a quotation for additional work is a separate charge, taken when you approve it. Tips are charged separately after the visit.

VAT and invoices

Prices shown include Value Added Tax at the rate set by ZATCA. A tax invoice is issued for every completed booking, numbered and dated, and can be viewed and downloaded from the booking. It carries the QR code required for a simplified tax invoice. If you need an invoice addressed to a company, contact support with the booking reference and we will reissue it.

Saved cards and security

Card details are collected by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider and never reach Tasko's systems: we hold a token and the last four digits so you can recognise the card. Some payments need 3-D Secure confirmation with your bank, which opens in a secure page inside the app. You can remove a saved card at any time in Payment methods.

Failed and disputed payments

If a payment fails we tell you why as far as the bank tells us, and the booking is held briefly so you can retry. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve it faster, and a chargeback on a delivered service may lead to account suspension while it is investigated.
