Refund Policy

When you get money back, how much, and how long it takes.

Version 1.0Effective 21 August 2026

When a refund is due

In full: the professional did not arrive, the booking was cancelled inside the free window (see the Cancellation Policy), you were charged twice, or the service could not be delivered for a reason on our side. In part: work was partially completed, or an agreed remedy under the Warranty Policy reduces the price. Not refundable: work completed to the standard described, or a cancellation after the professional has arrived at your address.

How to ask

Open the booking in the app and choose Get help, or raise a support ticket, within 14 days of the visit. Tell us what happened and attach photographs where the issue is visible. We acknowledge within 24 hours and decide within 5 working days; where we need the professional's account of the visit we will say so.

Where the money goes

A refund goes back to the original payment method by default. A card refund is issued by us immediately on approval and typically appears within 7 to 14 working days depending on your bank — that period is the bank's, not ours. You may instead choose Tasko wallet credit, which is available at once and can be spent on any booking; wallet credit is not exchangeable for cash.

Coupons and credit

Where a discount or wallet credit was applied to the booking, a refund returns the amount you actually paid; the promotional portion returns as credit under its original terms rather than as cash.

If you disagree

Ask for a review in the same ticket and a senior agent will look at it again. Beyond that, the Dispute Resolution page sets out your options, including complaining to the Ministry of Commerce.
