What is agreed for each individual booking — scope, access, timing and completion.
What forms the agreement
Each confirmed booking is a separate agreement between you and the assigned professional, arranged through Tasko and governed by these documents. Its scope is the service description, the inclusions and exclusions shown on the service page, and any note you added — all of which are recorded on the booking.
Scope and changes
A professional performs what was booked. Anything beyond it — a further fault found on site, a part that must be replaced, more hours than the listed duration — is raised as a quotation in the app and started only after you approve it. No work outside the booked scope may be agreed verbally or paid for off-platform.
Access and safety
You agree to provide access at the scheduled time and a safe place to work, including water and power where the job needs them, and to secure pets and valuables. A professional may decline to start or may stop work where the site is unsafe, where building-management approval is missing, or where the work would breach a safety regulation; that is recorded and the Cancellation Policy applies.
Completion
The professional marks the job complete in the app and, where the service calls for it, records completion evidence. You then have the visit summary, the invoice and the rating step. Raising a problem within the warranty window is described in the Warranty Policy.
